The whole Bundesliga scene is way more interesting than people think, it’s not just Bayern run away with the title anymore. Last season Leverkusen did the impossible, going unbeaten under Xabi Alonso, that’s a legit achievement ain’t nobody gonna take that away from them. But this season things are tricky — Bayern got Kompany who’s a rookie coach in top flight football, yeah he did great at Burnley but that’s Championship, not the same beast. You look at their squad, Kane is scoring for fun but the defense is shaky, Neuer is old, the fullbacks are inconsistent, and midfield lacks bite. Dortmund are gonna be Dortmund — flashy attacks, terrible defending, and a coach who’s learning on the job. The real dark horse? Stuttgart had a fairy tale last year but lost their striker Guirassy, now they’re struggling to replicate that form. Frankfurt is always a pain in the ass, they play ugly but effective. And Leipzig? Oh man, they change coaches like I change socks, never make it stick in the long run. The title race is actually open, I’d say Bayern still edge it because they have the deepest squad but Leverkusen with Wirtz and that system could pull off another miracle. One thing for sure: don’t sleep on the Bundesliga, it’s the most chaotic top league in Europe right now.
