It’s all marketing BS when they say football ain’t growing here — no it’s the whole system that’s broken. You want real change? Start with the playgrounds. Kids can’t even find a patch of grass to kick a ball without some security guard chasing ‘em off. That’s the reality. The grassroots structure? It’s a joke — basically non-existent, like they’re waiting for some miracle to happen. And coaches — most of ‘em don’t know squat about modern tactics. It’s tricky to teach what you never learned yourself, right? Parents think football’s a waste of time — they’d rather have their kids study math till midnight. That mindset’s gonna take a generation to fix.

Look at how Brazil does it — kids play in the streets, barefoot, any time they can. It’s in their blood. Here? It’s all about exams and college. Football is just a distraction. The media don’t help either — they hype up every loss like it’s the end of the world. Put that pressure on 20-year-old kids and see how they perform. It’s a circus. The business side’s all over the place — clubs lose money, investors lose faith, nobody’s in it for the long haul. They want quick results, but that ain’t how it works. You gotta build from the bottom up — make it stick with solid youth programs, real coaching education, and a culture that celebrates the game itself, not just winning. Until that changes — and I mean really changes — football’s gonna stay where it is. Simple as that.
