I saw this thing in Japan they built tiny pitches in neighborhoods not the full-size ones that sit empty but small (like 20 by 30 meters) with nets around so the ball don’t fly away – and they let local leagues form naturally no official registration no uniforms just a WhatsApp group and a weekly game – that’s how you build a habit not from above but from the ground up
So if you really want football to become a real everyday thing you gotta kill the formalities get rid of the pressure let the game be ugly let it be messy let people play with their kids their dogs whatever just let them play that’s how you get a culture that sticks not by pumping more money into empty stadiums that nobody uses
