说实话一开始我也觉得附加赛就是个噱头多打几场球多挣点门票钱呗但后来看了几个赛季的数据我是真服了这玩意儿把联赛那潭死水愣是给搅活了你想啊以前那些中游球队到了赛季后半段早就开始摆烂混日子没啥奔头现在倒好你排个第九第十都有可能冲进去打附加赛谁还敢歇着这不都拼了命往前冲嘛
附加赛制度这玩意儿啊说白了就是给那些不上不下的球队画了个饼而且这饼还真能咬到嘴里这绝对是把联赛竞争力给抬上去了个台阶你说是不是以前那种早早失去悬念的争冠大战现在到了附加赛阶段突然就变得刺激了该摆烂的不敢摆该混日子的也混不下去了所有人都憋着劲儿往死里干这竞争力不上来才怪呢
我见过很多联赛啊就是那种你一打开积分榜头几名跟后面差着十几分的那种看着都让人没心气儿但附加赛一来情况立马不一样了你看那些排在七八位的球队眼里头全是光啊他们那股子拼劲儿到最后几轮简直吓人有队伍甚至能连赢个五六场直接从第十冲到第六这要搁以前早他妈放假了
还有啊强队也不敢像以前那样瞎胡闹了以前他们到了后半程偶尔放放水轮换一下阵容问题不大毕竟领先优势摆在那儿但现在你排名要是稳不住万一掉到附加赛区域那可就真抓瞎了所以强队也得拼命拿分这就导致了整个联赛从第一轮到最后一轮都保持着高强度的对抗这竞争力能不提升嘛
最关键的是附加赛制度让那些小本经营的球队看到了希望他们虽然没有大牌球星没有豪华阵容但靠着一股子韧性一套死守反击的打法还真有可能在附加赛里头杀出一条血路这种故事一出来整个联赛的气质都不一样了大伙儿都开始相信只要不要命地干机会总是有的这尼玛才是体育该有的样子
当然也有人说什么附加赛会让常规赛失去意义但我觉得纯属扯淡常规赛是给球队打地基的附加赛才是那个把房子盖起来的最后几榔头没有地基你房子盖不起来但没有附加赛这最后几榔头你盖起来的房子也是个破烂货
所以啊附加赛制度尽管有人骂有人骂但它的的确确把联赛那潭死水给搅活了让竞争力这事儿彻底变得有血有肉了别跟我扯什么公平不公平的体育这玩意儿就是要精彩要刺激要让球迷看得过瘾附加赛正好把这活儿给干了
The whole “play-in tournament makes the league more competitive” thing you hear from the league office it’s basically PR fluff but here’s the truth it actually works. I mean look at the data before and after they introduced it teams that used to pack it in by February are suddenly fighting tooth and nail for that last spot. It’s not rocket science it’s about removing the safety net.
Here’s what the suits won’t tell you: the old system rewarded mediocrity. You finish 10th? Who cares you’re out. But with a play-in that 10th place team is suddenly four wins away from the playoffs and that changes everything. The players know it the coaches live it the owners feel it in their wallets. It’s a competitive pressure cooker and it makes everyone sharper.
The traditionalists will scream about “devaluing the regular season” which is a load of crap. What devalues the regular season is when 12 teams are eliminated by January. The play-in doesn’t do that it does the opposite it keeps those bubble teams relevant. You think that 8th seed is gonna tank for a better pick? Hell no they’re gonna play their asses off and that energy trickles up to the top teams who can’t afford to coast.
Is it perfect? Hell no it’s a dirty hack designed to sell more tickets and TV slots. But the side effect is it forces every team in the league to take every single game seriously. The margins are smaller the stakes are higher and guess what? The basketball is better for it. More intensity more drama more fight. The play-in ain’t going anywhere and for good reason it makes the damn thing stick.
